The Second Annual Bay State Memorial 5k Road Race will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. on the famous "Good Times" course in Lowell, Massachusetts. Come and join the fun, and lend your support to two incredibly worthy and valued causes: the Diane Geehan Youth Running Fund, and the Phil Riley Scholarship fund.

Pre-registration for the event is at 10:00 a.m. on race day, at Hookslide Kelly's, 19 Merrimack Street, Lowell, MA 01852. Awards for winners on the challenging 5k course include presentations in each age division (10-year age divisions, 0-19 to 70-plus, with three awards in each division). T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 200 race entrants who register by Oct. 1, 2011.

The start of the Good Times series is .24 miles from the rear entrance of Hookslide Kelly's. Hookslide Kelly's is located at 19 Merrimack Street; the rear entrance is located on Paige Street. To head to the start line, begin at "Start" on the map below and proceed to "Finish"--the race start line.
